If you were told you could relive a moment in your life, which would you choose?

Any moment I got to spend with my mum would be nice since she's no longer in this world. Failing that, I'd love to be back to the time we went on a honeymoon out East. Long drives make me happy. Travelling makes me happy.

What's on your "do before I die" list?

• Get a permanent residency.

• Get a photography-related job.
  

• Get a Canadian citizenship (even though it means giving up my Indonesian citizenship due to stupid Indonesian single citizenship policy)
• Buy a house
• Travel the world
• Have a kid (one would be more than enough, thank you)

If you could open any sort of restaurant, what would it be like?

It would be an Indonesian restaurant, of course, because what Canada needs is more Indonesian restaurants. One that serves authentic Indonesian food instead of bastardised version of it. I would train the cook on how to cook Indonesian food the way I like it so that when I'm hungry, all I have to do is come to my own restaurant and order whatever Indonesian food I feel like having. Of course for the rest of the customers, the cook might have to tone down the hotness a little bit, i.e. put less chillis in it.

I've been to two Indonesian restaurants in Canada. One served Dutch-Indonesian food, which was pretty bland for my taste, and the other served "fusion Indonesian food", which means expensive and very much bastardised. Dining at the so-called Indonesian restaurants only makes me miss Indonesian food more. And that is the reason I need to open my own Indonesian restaurant.

Maybe someday.

What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?

Just one? Well, I'd like to get my application for permanent residency out of the way. It's already halfway into the year and I still haven't got the frickin' police clearance from Indonesia. Boohoo! The clearance is the only document I need to complete my application that I haven't got. Well, I still need to fill out the big pile of forms, but that's another story altogether. I'm getting tired of being unemployed and not making any money other than from Google AdSense, which isn't much. I wish my family in Indonesia would hurry and get the clearance for me for real. But I guess they have more important things to worry about. *sigh*

Failing that, I'd just like to finish my site redesign. The site has been sporting the same design for almost two years. I'm sure everyone has gotten tired of looking at it. I'm even considering moving it to another domain, but we'll see. I've had the current domain for over 6 years but it's such a silly domain name. I came up with the name in a hurry and obviously didn't put too much thought into it. It was cute at first but then I started getting links from people who think that I'm actually a guy who wants to be a girl, and now it's just not so cute anymore. Not that there's anything wrong with it. It's just not me. I'd still like to keep the domain, but probably not for my blog.

Tell us a little something about your first girlfriend/boyfriend.

Well, I married my first boyfriend so he didn't really get away. I mean, how could he? I'm so awesomely adorable, he just had to marry me. Haha!

I do have plenty of unrequited loves in the past. I wouldn't call them the ones that got away. I'd call them the ones who missed out on something wonderful. Heh. If anything, I am the one who got away.

(Trust me, in reality, my self-esteem is not really THAT high.)
