i usually stop before it even loads but yeah. Thats what I have. I just wanted something different to the stupid ISP page. I havent put much thought into it.
What was the first movie you remember seeing in a movie theater?

E.T - I probably saw some stuff before that but i really remember E.T.
The cinema we went to - it was really old fashioned place and before the movie started there was a man in front of the screen playing a piano.
Anyways - i wa pretty young when we saw it but I absolutely loved it. Its the first film I remember crying my eyes out watching. I know I cried at the end but mum said I cried when E.T died and then cried AGAIN when he came back to life. :D
I also remember my sister (who is 2 years younger than me and was always a pain about sitting still for a long time when we were young) really pissed my parents off because she wanted to go to the toilet right in that point of the film. I was too focused on the film to recall who took her out.
But we both LOVED E.T. - we had E.T. toys, colouring books, whatever my parents could afford and get their hands on. We got 2 goldfish not long after we saw it and Emma and I named them Gertie and Elliott. Yeah we were obsessed. :D

its totally lame but I cant be arsed making an effort. I love the lil scattered/coloured hearts brush i made. its so cute! I dont use it much but I didnt want to use someone elses brushes on my pic.The sakura petals were used in an old background on one of my sites long ago...probably scanned from a Cardcaptor Sakura comic back in the day...its been a long time...
Ha...I knew the sakura petals suited my theme but I didnt notice till I posted it that the background fill thibgy actually suits the colour of the theme i am using atm too. :D

I recently became a bit obsessed with Nana after downloading the first 3 episodes of the anime. I also bought the first 3 volumes of the manga in english and have downloaded scanlations up to volume 10 but only read up to the end of Volume 6 (I got lazy)
I really adore it though (my little vox pic atm is of Hachi...Hachi is the nickname of the not-rocker Nana), so I went on a search for Nana wallpapers online..I have heaps of them now but my faves usually incude both Nanas like this one.
I dont have a lot of program icons on my desktop because I get annoyed when its too cluttered so things usually get shoved into the programs and stuff folder when I dont use them regularly. :D
No one probably cares but I still use 800x600 resolution because anything higher strainsmy eyes too much...I already have to squint quite a lot when using the computer.
Play any instrument or speak any language, which do you choose?

while i would really LOVE to relearn japanese and french again to the point that i know them at almost native level and wont forget them easily i would sacrifice both to be able to play an instrument.
i think i would like to know the piano.......though close second would be acoustic guitar.
and hey - music is a universal language....its way better than that silly talking thing humans do!
What was the highlight of this past weekend?
Well I am not sure what to say.
On Sunday I hung out with a friend of mine from Melbourne and some of her friends - part of the day involved torture (WALKING LOOOOOONG distances) but we also ate yummy food and I took some piccies at Bondi Beach.
If my friends and the paparazzi guy I was standing next to can be believed I also saw the back of Kate Hudsons head. I means like WOAH! THATS HUGE!! hehehehe
Then Sunday was my brother and his wifes baby shower. While there I found out one of my brothers friend was now married and he has two kids. And they are the cutest brand of baby on the planet - half asian/half white! OHEMGEE!!! I wanted to steal them! :D
I didnt get a picture of the little boy, but I got a few of the little girl. Thats her with her daddy. She was pretty shy around anyone but mum and dad.

I dont drink any alcohol. Non-alcohol - most people know the answer - coca cola!!!!!!!!!1 and i like to not know the specifics of what is in that magic drink other than unhealthy amounts of sugar and caffiene. i know i love it and thats ALL that matters!
i have been trying to cut back on drinking it actually because I have been having regular headaches and thought it might be too muh coke but am thinking its too much eye strain....oh well. i love you coke!

well i couldnt resist this before i went to bed. and how nifty - if this is a regular thing i wont have to think up clever topics - LOVE IT! they used to do similar things on OpenDiary but you had to do all the work. this is schweet!
now my answer. over the years i have loved many different muppets. i know i loved Miss Piggy at one point (when ever i got angry with people i even used to hit people like she did when i was litt;e), i think i liked Big Bird but then fell in love with Mr Snufflufikus (did i spell it right??), I loved the Cookie Monster and even Oscar the Grouch. I am sure i loved Ernie at one point...i NEVER liked Bert. >.<
but these days i just ADORE Elmo. he is so sweet and adorable and funny. we have a tv show here in aussieland called Rove Live and Elmo has been on as a guest 3 times - twice via satelite and just last week he was actually in the studio - and it was beyond cute!!! If i have kids - i wont be able to tolerate the Wiggles but if they love Elmo then all will be forgiven!
total newb here. i havent decided what to do with this place but i like to try out new things. maybe i will grow to love it. :D anyways i wont write much now as it is 2:34am and i need sleep. i have to get up for work at 6am (more like 6:30 lately...oops). travelling 2 hours to work is the pits.
